Anitta collects her second top 10 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart as “Envolver” lifts 12-7 on the April 2-dated ranking. To boot, the single becomes the week’s greatest gainer in terms of streams.

“Envolver” was officially released Nov. 11, 2021, through Warner/Warner Latina. While the song debuted at No. 31 on the chart dated March 19, it gained traction months prior on TikTok, and went viral after fans uploaded their videos mirroring Anitta’s dance moves via the #Envolver challenge. It has since generated over 1 million videos.

“Envolver” is her second top 10 and first as a soloist. It trails the No. 5-peaked “Me Gusta,” featuring Cardi B and Myke Towers (October 2020).

The song enters the upper region on the all-metric tally boosted by a 44% increase in streams. It generated 4.62 million U.S. clicks in the week ending March 24, according to Luminate, formerly MRC Data. Hot Latin Songs blends airplay, streams, and digital sales.

The figure prompts “Envolver” to gain new territory on Latin Streaming Songs, flying 16-7 in its second week. Likewise, her second top 10 there, behind “Me Gusta’s” No. 3 high (Oct. 2020).

In the sales market, the track has sold a little under 1,000 downloads in the same tracking week ending in March 24, holding at No. 4 for a second week on Latin Digital Song Sales.

On a greater spectrum, Anitta’s chart success extends beyond the U.S., as she scales the global charts. “Envolver” shoots 12-2 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and 19-5 on the Global 200. It’s the sixth Spanish-language song to crack the top 5 on the latter chart and just the third to reach the top 2 on the former. “Envolver” follows Maluma’s “Hawai” and Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez’s “Dakiti,” both of which hit No. 1 in 2020.
