In the vibrant new visual, the members of IVE party the night away in a luxurious, ever-changing mansion in the clouds as they blink into different rooms, wearing different outfits. They later disappear into the sky in a flying white sedan.
“Narcissistic, my god I love it / The night shone upon us two / Beautiful black eyes, diving deeper in / You into me, me into you / Hold your breath, love dive,” sing IVE on the chorus.
‘Love Dive’, which also includes the B-side ‘Royal’, marks IVE’s first release of 2022. It comes just four months after their debut last December with their first single album ‘Eleven’, which had included its lead single of the same title and the B-side ‘Take It’.
The rookie girl group is led by former IZ*ONE‘s An Yu-jin, and is completed by fellow ex-IZ*ONE member Jang Won-young along with Gaeul, Liz, Rei and Leeseo. They are the third girl group to debut under Starship Entertainment after SISTAR and WJSN.
In February, European K-pop festival KPOP.FLEX confirmed that IVE would be performing on both days of its upcoming concert set to take place in May at the Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany. Other artists on the line-up include ENHYPEN, (G)I-DLE, EXO’s Kai, MONSTA X and more.
In other K-pop news, former IZ*ONE member Miyawaki Sakura has been unveiled as the first new member of Source Music’s upcoming six-member girl group LE SSERAFIM with a series of new teaser images. The agency had previously confirmed that another ex-IZ*ONE member, Kim Chae-won, would also be part of the lineup of LE SSERAFIM, although her official teasers have yet to arrive.
