Shira Knishkowy has been hired as artist manager and director of digital & creative strategy at Another Management Company, the boutique firm founded by Reynold Jaffe and Eric Dimenstein in 2017.

In her new role, Knishkowy will support the company’s entire roster with her strategic expertise touching on DSPs, branding, marketing, communications and more. She will eventually manage/co-manage artists for the company.

Knishkowy arrives at Another Management from Spotify, where she’s served as manager of music PR & communications for nearly three years. She previously spent more than four years as director of publicity at Matador Records and, prior to that, over two years as director of publicity at Partisan Records. She entered the PR field in 2011 when she was hired as a publicist at Big Hassle Media and started her career as a music assistant at WME in 2010.

“After over a decade in music publicity, I am beyond thrilled to bring my skills, relationships, and experience into the management sphere, working alongside some of the best people and the best artists in the business at Another Management Company,” said Knishkowy in a statement. “Having worked with AMC on previous campaigns when I was at Matador Records, I know that our creative visions and approach to developing long-term artist careers is compatible. Working with the brilliant team at Spotify was a life-changing opportunity, and I look forward to bringing that experience with me, growing alongside AMC as we foster the careers of developing and established artists alike.”

Another Management’s roster includes Kurt Vile, Ex Hex, Fenne Lily, Horsegirl, Katy Kirby, Mary Timony, Mdou Moctar, Protomartyr, Sheer Mag, Snail Mail, Stephen Malkmus and Waxahatchee.

“Shira’s passion and drive for the artists we’ve worked on together through the years has been profound and tangible,” added Jaffe. “I have ultimate confidence that Shira will take the relationships, skill-sets and most importantly the instincts she’s developed over the past 10+ years as a leading music publicist to quickly emerge as a world class artist manager. Shira was always one of the strongest components of the most successful album campaigns I’ve managed. I’m excited to now have her bring that strength to every campaign WE manage.”
